Thermally Broken Doors & Ground Floor Treatments

Doors
Constructed from aluminium alloy HE9 in accordance with BS 1474.
Door leaves are constructed with tubular door stiles available in narrow, medium and wide profiles.
Extruded aluminium thresholds are available to suit both pivoted doors (one - or two-way action), and rebated doors (open-in or -out).
Waistrails are available in depths of 120mm, 150mm and 210mm.
All door corners are mechanically jointed with HE 30 aluminium cleats secured with machine screws, and are factory machined with all necessary cut-outs.
Pivoted doors are complete with Dorma RTS85 concealed overhead hold-open closers.
Rebated doors are fitted with Dorma TS83 surface mounted closers (single doors) or Geze Integral Selector surface mounted closers (double doors).
Doors are fitted with Adams Rite maximum deadlocks complete with Union cylinders and HDS 226 pad handles.
Alternative locking facilities and furniture arrangements are available to customer specific requirements.

Screens
Constructed from extruded aluminium alloy HE9 in accordance with BS:1474.
Bead frame extrusions are HDS 101 or HDS110 102mm x 45mm overall with snap in interlocking glazing bead system requiring no screw fixings. Sections HDS 111, HDS 114, HDS 503 polystyrene infills in HDS IOI section to perimeter of frames.
Flush glazed frame extrusions are HDS 719, HDS 711, HDS 7l4/72 I for single glazing and HDS 769, HDS 761, and HDS 764/751 for 24mm thick double glazing. Polystyrene infills to perimeter sections.

Finishes
Anodised in accordance with (BS:3987 process) BS: 1615 grade AA film thickness 25 microns to the following standard finishes.
100A Natural Silver
200A Black (Analok 54B)
300A Light Bronze (Analok 543)
400A Mid Bronze (Analok 545)
500A Dark Bronze (Analok 547)
Produced by cobalt impregnation in the Anolok process.
Syntha Pulvin standard matt colours, organic powder coating following thorough pretreatment average film thickness 40- 80 microns, minimum film thickness 40 microns to BS:1470/1, BS: l474 and British Board of Agreement Certificate No.

Glazing
Doors and screens/sashes are generally glazed with single glass or sealed double glazed units, 6mm, 6.4mm, 10m, 11.5mm and 24mm.
All doors and screen glass below 900mm high are glazed with safety glass to BS:6262. Suitable obscure, patterned, tinted or solar control glasses can be supplied to specific customer requirements. AII doors are supplied factory glazed and hung.

Weatherstripping
Door stiles have high density silicon treated polypropylene pile weatherstrip and HDS 208 weatherstrip to bottom rails. The glass to bead seal for doors and screens/sashes is by tailored neoprene glazing gasket.
